The RealQ® platform is powerful and provides great possibilities for adaptation to the customer’s needs. Health Solutions has an advance-planned methodology for how RealQ® products are to be operated. Our methodology can be summarized in five points:

Basic approach

The systems must function properly in everyday clinical use. If the system is used daily for follow-up of individual patients, constant quality control takes place for data entered. One positive result of this is that the better the system serves the individual user, the better the data generated for future publications and research.

Specification work

A thorough pre-study is always conducted before adaptations or programming take place. The pre-study is conducted by specialists within health information technology who have expertise in both healthcare and IT, along with the people served by the system (customers, users, patients).

Often, thematized workshops are given for the purpose of gathering information. This cuts down on programming time, since things are done properly the first time.

Our experience shows that a thorough pre-study results in a significantly less expensive project in general, and ensures that the finished application meets the customer’s needs.

Safe for the future

In the pre-study, Health Solutions uses future scenarios to define trends that may have an effect on the region and therefore the system.

We want to create applications with longevity, and to do away with the need for our own involvement. The system is so easy that those working with everyday quality assurance should be able to maintain it on their own.

User-friendliness

A good system is only good if it is used. We always use experienced designers to guarantee that our interfaces are intuitive and user-friendly, so that users in everyday clinical work can really take advantage of the system.
