How RealQ® works
All RealQ® products are based on three common principles: real-time access, assistance with clean data entry, and intelligent administration.
Real-time access
All calculations and statistics are presented graphically in real time. As soon as a patient enters the database, (s)he is included in the statistical base. This means that a doctor can follow closely the progress of the project and continuously compare his/her data with that of other countries, benchmarking.
Clean data entry
“Unclean” data is always a problem with databases. For example, the wrong data may entered, data may be entered into the wrong field, or the user may make typographical errors.
For our RealQ® products, we have worked hard to develop simple and manageable forms for data entry. They even have control functions that check to make sure the data entered is rational.
Users of RealQ® product applications throughout Sweden consistently report very high quality of data.
Intelligent administration
By presenting all data in real-time, Health Solutions provides a tool that always gives current and up-to-date data on the way the system is being used. Inclusion, data entry, the number of logins, and the pages in use are examples of the types of data included in the administrator’s real-time system overview.
By giving different levels of access to different users, we can show different sections of data to different groups. A tool developed for a hospital, for example, might show clinical administrators only data from their own clinics, while the administration can see data from the entire hospital.
